Will the quality get worse?
"Keep quality" only shrinks the pictures inside and keeps text sharp and selectable. Very small targets like 100 KB turn each page into a compressed image, so the text can no longer be selected, but it stays readable.
Why can't it reach my size?
Some PDFs, like long scanned documents, cannot get that small and stay readable. We will get as close as possible and tell you the final size.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDF is opened and changed inside your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server. You can check: open your browser's Network panel while you work, or turn on airplane mode after the page loads. Everything still works.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, with no account, no daily limit and no watermark. Because your device does the work, it costs us almost nothing to run.
