Resize a photo to a size in KB

For forms that say "photo 20 to 50 KB" or "signature under 20 KB". Set the KB and, if needed, the exact pixels.

Stays on your phone or computer. Only you see it.

Made for upload forms

Exam, job, visa and bank forms often ask for a photo or signature in a size range, such as 20 to 50 KB, sometimes with exact pixels like 200 × 230. Phone photos are usually 2 to 5 MB, so they get rejected.

Pick the largest size, tick "smallest size" if your form has one, and choose exact pixels if it asks. You see a preview before you save.

Sharp, not blocky

Instead of crushing the quality, we first make the picture a little smaller in pixels and keep the quality high. That is why our 20 KB photos still look clean.

Your location stays private

Phone photos can hide your GPS location inside the file. Resizing here saves a fresh JPG without it, and the photo never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. 1Choose your photo or signature
  2. 2Pick the size in KB, and the pixels if the form asks
  3. 3Download the JPG and upload it

Questions

What if my form needs at least 10 KB?

Tick "My form also has a smallest size" and type it. If a very simple picture, like a signature on white paper, is still too small, we add invisible padding so it meets the minimum. The picture itself does not change.

Can I resize a signature?

Yes. Take a clear photo of your signature on white paper, choose it here, pick Exact pixels (140 × 60 is common) and a size like 20 KB.

Which file type will I get?

A JPG, the format almost every form accepts. Transparent PNG backgrounds become white.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your PDF is opened and changed inside your own browser, on your own device. Your file is never sent to a server. You can check: turn on airplane mode after the page loads, and everything still works.

Is it really free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it is free, with no account, no daily limit and no watermark. Because your device does the work, it costs us almost nothing to run.

What happens if I close the page by mistake?

Your work is saved in this browser only (not online). Come back to the same page and you can pick up where you left off. You can clear it at any time.
